ETC Installs 190 kW Solar Power Plant
We are thrilled to announce that we are installing our first solar energy plant to power our manufacturing facility right here in Henderson, North Carolina. When fully operational, the 190 kW, 642-panel roof-mounted photovoltaic system will produce nearly 300,000 kW hours of electricity each year and reduce our energy reliance by 40 to 50 percent each month.
This development will have a significant positive environmental impact. The solar power plant will cut annual emissions of carbon dioxide, sulphur oxides and nitrogen oxides while saving over 170,000 gallons of water each year.
Inman Solar has developed, designed and installed the plant. The firm is a national provider of turnkey solar photovoltaic systems and has handled the entire project, from the earliest stages of energy analysis and interconnecting with our local utility grid.
